The Story You Carry Is the One You’re Meant to Tell
“Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story.” Psalm 107:2 (NIV)
You have a story. It is not too messy. It is not too ordinary. It is not too late. Whether your story feels like a winding road or a quiet path, it holds sacred ground. The moments that shaped you, even the ones you would rather forget, are part of something bigger than you realize.
God has never wasted a single page. The plot twists, the waiting seasons, the victories, the heartbreaks. All of it has the potential to reveal His goodness and shape your purpose.
Your Story Was Never Meant to Be Hidden
Some stories are loud and visible. Others unfold in quiet faithfulness. But no matter how yours reads, it carries weight. Your life experience is not a barrier to your calling. It is often the doorway to it.
When you begin to see your story through God’s eyes, you stop editing out the parts that make you human. You start embracing the lessons, the shaping, and the grace that has brought you this far.
The Past Can Prepare You, Not Define You
In Discover Your Divine Design, your story is the starting place. You don’t have to invent a new life. You get to discover what your life has already been telling you. As you reflect on the journey, you’ll find patterns that point to who you are, what matters to you, and where God might be leading you next.
Your story is not a detour. It’s a thread in a much greater tapestry. And the more you understand it, the more you’re able to offer it for the good of others.
Reflect:
What chapter of your story have you been skipping over or trying to silence? What would happen if you let God use that part too? Read Psalm 107 again. What story might you be ready to tell, not because it’s perfect, but because it’s real?
