Who we are
Discover Your Divine Design was created by John Willoughby, a leader, coach, and unapologetic believer that every person was crafted by God with purpose, on purpose. After years of working with leaders, churches, and teams, John saw a gap, believers craving clarity about who they are and how to actually live it out. That’s where this journey was born.
John’s not here to hand you cookie-cutter answers. His background in leadership development, biblical teaching, and personal growth led him to design a process that’s rooted in Scripture, but brutally practical. Discover Your Divine Design isn’t just a book, it’s a roadmap to help you uncover your identity, expertise, story, desires, gifts, and the unique niche God wired you to fill.
At the core, we believe discovering your divine design brings confidence, clarity, and the courage to live your calling boldly, in the church, at home, and in the world. Ready to uncover yours?

About FAQs

Our mission is to help people discover and live out the unique design God has given them—integrating their identity, expertise, story, desires, and spiritual gifts into a clear, purposeful calling. We equip and encourage individuals to serve from who they are in Christ, using their God-given strengths in partnership with others to build up the Body of Christ and advance His Kingdom. Through teaching, coaching, and practical tools, we guide believers to align their lives with God’s design so they can serve with joy, confidence, and lasting impact.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and the ultimate guide for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16–17). We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone—who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again to offer eternal life to all who believe (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8–9).
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, equipping and empowering them to live a godly life and serve in the advancement of God’s Kingdom (Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4–7).
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to unity, love, and service, and that every believer is gifted by God to build up the Body and glorify Him (Romans 12:4–6; Ephesians 4:11–13).
We believe Jesus Christ will return to fulfill all of God’s promises, bringing final restoration and eternal life with Him to all who belong to Him (Revelation 21:1–5).

We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, fully trustworthy and the final authority in all matters of faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16–17). It is the foundation for everything we teach and the standard by which we guide our process.
-
We are driven by the desire to see every believer discover, embrace, and live out the unique design God has placed within them. We believe that when people understand their identity in Christ, recognize their God-given gifts, and align their skills, experiences, and passions with His purposes, they can serve with joy, confidence, and lasting Kingdom impact.
Our work is fueled by a commitment to:
Biblical truth as the foundation for life and ministry
Empowering believers to serve from their God-given design
Equipping the Church through practical tools and Spirit-led guidance
Glorifying God by building up the Body of Christ in unity and love
Every training, coaching session, and resource we offer is aimed at helping people live out Ephesians 2:10—walking in the good works God prepared in advance for them to do.
-
We integrate biblical truth with practical tools, combining insights from your identity, expertise, story, desires, and spiritual gifts. We also use the Core Values Index as a unique lens to help you see both your strengths and your growth areas. This creates a clear, actionable path to live out your calling with joy and impact.
-
Through guided reflection, assessments, and biblical teaching, we walk you through five key areas—identity, expertise, story, desire, and spiritual gifts. By the end, you’ll see how these parts work together to form your niche and ministry focus.
-
That’s exactly why this process exists. We help you see your God-given design clearly so you can step into a role that fits both you and the needs of the Body of Christ.
